We couldn't find any goats to test it on. I think there's some sheep up in Durham though.

Yep Mollie we do all that to LOL
Its actually quite interesting how people follow what other people are doing. It seems theres always one person who will start a chain reaction, they dont even have to know others in the group to start it either. people just copy!

Old thread I know...
It is interesting that people who do not "believe" in hauntings, or have had any paranormal experiences have reported such experiences. Also, there are those cases where there is absolutely no expectation or foreknowledge of a location and stuff happens. It's rather fascinating and opens up a lot more questions than answers.
Then you get to the issue of proof. I think there will not be any sufficient sort of evidence that would constitute proof to skeptics or the scientific community at large. But as long as people take the time and effort to experiment and to do research, we may yet gain more insight into what is going on.

We were carrying out some pretty good experiments over the last couple of years and got some really good results. The vast majority though supported logical and known scientific reasoning for alleged phenomena. There were one or two very interesting things happened but this took us down the path of wanting a portable eeg machine to find out what's happening in the brain while the experiences are going on. Haven't got one yet so everything's sort of on hold.

An interesting bit of kit that is being used now are EM Pods. They're small devices that flash and make a sound if there is a EMF fluctuation. About the size of a cupcake, they can be placed along a path or whatnot. I've seen some interesting results with it. I like the idea that one can place a series of them, say along a corridor and see them go off in sequence- not necessarily evidence of paranormal, but interesting nonetheless.
Perhaps there is a used EEG machine on Ebay, LOL ;-)

Oh believe me we've looked. You can get one from China (where else) for about 500 quid. I need it to drop to about 50.

Deactivated hospitals ;-) LOL! I remember when Richard was filming in one and it was like the staff and all just left, like a ghost ship- many things were merely left behind like the day they closed the building. Apparently there was a morgue down in the basement and as far as I know, no one went to venture down there to see what else might have been left.
Maybe finding some graduate or post-graduate student who can "borrow" a machine could help you out without you having to actually buy something ;-)

I do keep my eye open for something that might come up but it seems as though second hand or unwanted EEG machines are a rarity. Maybe I should just make one.

You could do ;-)
Maybe one of those biofeedback gizmos might work as well.
