I don't know about how I feel about the possible existence of Yeti, but for us folks in the US, especially for those of us on the West coast, I do believe there is some sort of unknown primate inhabiting the woods and mountains, especially up in the Pacific Northwest. There are too many reports and those include reports which predate the Patterson/Gimlin film back in the 60s.
Yes, I believe in Sasquatch or "Squatch"... would like to go camping and see if anything shows up so long as it don't pee on my tent ;-) I'd go out after dark (as these things are reportedly nocturnal) and do a bit of call blasting and tree knocking. I think it would be fun. Probably scare the shit out of me, but what the heck? Something is definitely out there... something Squatchy ;-)

I think if i had the chance Id like to go and look for what ever it is. But personally I think its probably just a primate that they havent found yet. However Sasquatch is better because of the mystic surrounding it!

When we went to the ASSAP meeting last year, one of the speakers was a bigfoot hunter, been backwards and forwards for years and written several books etc. It was a very interesting talk and he had some really good circumstantial evidence including some funny bits. After his talk he sat down next to us and we asked him if, after all he's done and seen, he actually believed in Bigfoot. He said no. For him, although there's a great deal of supportive evidence, he's never found that one piece of evidence that would confirm it. But he's still doing it and he still keeps looking. One of the best talks of the night.

Id forgotten about him actually. He was a brilliant speaker and very interesting with his own thoughts. It was amazing to hear how much time hed spent flying back and forth and all the investigations hed carried out. Hed found and photographed foot prints aswell, but each one he had he had conclusive evidence to say it was man made, but they were very good!
